Do you battle with self worth? A battle that feels like a constant roller coaster. Well friends I’m here to relate. I battle with self worth and negative perspectives. I’m not going to lie to you, some days I feel like I cannot escape the negative self talk. I compare and contrast myself to others which leads to a game of “who’s better”. It's a misleading game full of lies. Have you ever thought why do I struggle with self worth? Why do I allow other people to create my perspective? Because I sure have and I often ponder these questions. Most likely, these lies have originated from the pain or neglect someone has brought upon you. Personally, I suffer from negative self talk because I have no relationship with my biological father.

I have allowed lies to withhold me from seeing my full worth and potential. I have to remind myself and others that we're not fighting FOR the victory, we are fighting FROM the victory.

Therefore, we don't have to live believing these lies. We aren't defined by the neglect, but we rejoice in His love. We aren't bound by our past, but free through His sacrifice. We aren't a victim of the world, but the VICTOR through Christ. I struggled with believing these lies daily for almost 10 years. Allowing these lies to enter your life will eat away at your joy. I challenge you to write down who has hurt you deeply and what lies that individual brought. Then right next to the lie write the TRUTH. This allows for us differentiate the truth from a lie by bringing it to the light. At the moment you may not believe the truth, but I promise The Almighty God is powerful and He will speak life into you. God will invade your mind and heart if you're willing to surrender those lies over. When we surrender to God, He will speak within us and guide our pathways.

Not once does God question our self worth. He knows our value because He created us. Isn't that crazy?! The Creator of All handcrafted you and I. All He makes is beautiful and wonderful. We are made in His image. When we doubt ourselves, we are doubting the Creator of All. When we insult ourselves, we are insulting the Creator of All. Jesus didn’t suffer and sacrifice himself for us to question our worth. Simply, the Savior of Life died for us because we were worth it all to Him. Let's be confident in our worth, together.

Friends, I love you dearly.

You're not alone in this battle. I am here for you. Community is here for you.

Most importantly, God is here for you, always.
